Plan participants can use the Financial Wellness for the major financial challenges they'll face throughout life, from paying for college to buying a home to navigating the loss of a spouse. They can access live, one-on-one coaching from accredited financial counselors and independent learning through online resources.

 

  • Accredited or Certified Financial Counselors are accessible by phone to assess issues, discuss options, and help members determine the best course of action for their situation.
  • The online Financial Wellness Center is a rich resource for information, including a variety of vetted articles, videos, worksheets, checklists and more, to guide participants' financial wellness journey.
  • Established learning tracks include resources for major life events, like getting married or having a child, and general financial goals, like developing a budget and eliminating student debt.

  • How can the Financial Wellness help members?

    Periodically people need financial guidance and feel they have nowhere to turn; Financial Wellness is here to provide that guidance at no charge whenever the need arises. Financial Wellness helps members:

    Tax Hotline offers members access to unlimited tax advice, prior year tax return reviews, and free tax return preparation for forms 1040A, 1040EZ and the standard 1040. In addition, Tax Hotline provides members with access to discounts on numerous tax return schedules and forms. By using a toll-free number during normal business hours, members will be able to effectively plan in advance so the year-end tax preparation is free and painless.
  • Who is behind the Tax Hotline?

    All tax and financial assistance is provided by tax attorneys, financial analysts, CPAs, former auditors and/or Enrolled Agents certified by the IRS. This team of professionals is ready to answer tax questions in a confidential and secure environment.

    All tax and financial advice is backed by a $1 million liability policy.
